Steel wire armoured (swa – Halogen Free)
It is suitable for direct burial installations as well as in air or ducts with no further protection. SWA (HF) is constructed with high conductivity annealed stranded copper conductors, XLPE insulated cores, HFC bedded, galvanized steel wire armouring and finally sheathed with halogen free compound to eliminate the emission of corrosive halogen acid gas during combustion, suitable for use where prolonged circuit integrity is required.
